Why Pink?
Naming my business was quite simple. My lifelong love for the color pink inspired me, and it also conveniently represents the four pillars of my nutrition framework: Practical, Intuitive, Nourishing, and Knowledge. The mission of Pink Nutrition is to empower individuals to build a positive relationship with food through sustainable nutrition changes, intuitive eating principles, a renewed sense of joy in nourishing the body, and evidenced-based nutrition education.
I strongly believe that we need a new framework for nutrition.
So I created one..
I call it Pink, an acronym that outlines what a positive relationship with food and our bodies looks like. Positive. Intuitive. Nourishing. Knowledge.
Here are some common nutrition questions I’m asked, along with a little taste into how the pink framework addresses them:
P: Practical.
I: Intuitive
N: Nourishing
K: Knowledge
Following the PINK framework is the key to developing a positive relationship with food. Improving our relationship with food will help us build a strong foundation for that will allow us to form lasting habits and achieve sustainable results with our health goals.
Our society does a poor job of modeling what a healthy relationship with food looks like. Resetting our mindset around nutrition takes time and practice. It’s not a quick fix.
Learning this framework will be a journey, but it will be worth it. Book a virtual consultation with me to learn this new framework. I’ll help you make lasting changes and create an eating pattern that is uniquely tailored to you. I absolutely love working with my clients to help them create lasting changes, and I would love to work with you too!
Thanks for reading, and welcome to Pink Nutrition!
